Hi Tara – great post. I think one of the challenges that people face with this issue is the constant bombardment of get-rich-quick books, tapes, businesses, etc.
I agree with your advice.

Thanks for the post. Sometimes you work really hard and don’t see immediate results and you wonder, “Am I doing something wrong here? Will I ever get to where I want to be?”
This post is encouraging. Although I still have a ways to go before I’m where I want to be, I love what I’m doing and I’m excited because I can actually sense success. This feeling makes my goals feel more attainable and it motivates me to be creative and break from convention, rather than submitting to it.
Thanks for the reminder that success takes time; and that as long as you’re excited and having fun, success is yours.
